Five years have passed since Hiccup and Toothless joined the mythical serpents and Vikings of Berk. Presently, they invest their energy graphing the island’s unmapped domains. During one of their experiences, the pair find a mysterious cavern that houses many wild mythical serpents – and a strange mythical serpent rider who ends up being Hiccup’s tragically missing mother, Valka (Cate Blanchett).
